1000’s of protesters hit the streets of Rome, Friday to exhibit towards labour market reforms. They had been joined by 1000’s of employees in over 50 nationwide protests and strikes, hitting hospitals, colleges and public transportation programs.

Unionists are hanging towards Prime Minister Mario Renzi’s Jobs Act, which is able to make it simpler for firms to rent and fireplace workers. Supporters of the Jobs Act consider it may shake up Italy’s economic system and assist cut back stubbornly excessive unemployment. Opponents say it is going to threaten jobs in an already unstable job market.
