Israel focused branches of Al-Qard Al-Hassan – a US-sanctioned monetary affiliation linked to Hezbollah – in a wave of strikes throughout Lebanon in a single day.
It claims AQAH “instantly funds Hezbollah’s terror actions, together with the acquisition of weapons and funds to operatives in Hezbollah’s army wing”.
The Israeli army issued 24 evacuation warnings of air strikes in lower than an hour, which triggered widespread panic in accordance with the UN’s envoy to Lebanon.
Israel’s International Minister Israel Katz stated on X that Beirut is “in flames” after the Israeli assaults.
